It creeps deep inside,
unknown, unheard
as steadily it rules
the soul, mind and self.

It travels unrest
and soon it occupies,
all dreams, desires
untill silently it rests.

It is not the pain,
nor does it bring smile.
It feels like the breeze,
that flirted a flickering light.

It frissons the mind,
slowly as it melts in a tuneful rhyme,
teasing with the wits,
as it draw all senses blind.

Is it called love?
Or is yet to be defined
As it grows old,
A fresh brisk of youth is all it leaves behind.

There are often the days that turn back to you
And some memories that never let your soul go.

Someday when steadiest you find your stroll,
And the world may look more colorful than before,

Then the things once you tried to get away with,
And the tears that took ages to dry,

Suddenly you find them standing on your way,
And it sprung as a surprise for no reason at all.

Memories turn brisk and the wounds refresh,
It’s hard to get away with, when the past chase behind,
And it’s toughest to step forward since time never rewinds.

And helpless as you see all your dreams may burn,

No matter you are strangled with no one to trust

And the ones that were yours have already left.

No matter the nights that sleepless you spent,

And lifeless you felt for all seasons that went,

No matter how sour were the tears you shed,

And the regret for the things your soul never let.

No matter you may hide some pains and fears,

And harder you hold it may flow down in tears

No matter what you lost were the things most close,

And the people whom you loved may never turn yours,

No matter how smite are some memories that haunt,

And if you close your eyes more ailing it abound.

But Life often flows like a steady stream of wave,

For every tumult storm, follows a silent phase,

It reveals all various colors in a timely array,

And life never stays in blue and grey.

Falling down with the waves of the wind,
a lonely leaf in the season of spring.

It’s a begining to a final journey around,
as it gently touches the misty grounds.

Though hard it tries and wherever it turns,
but soon to realize the way is just one.

No clue, no hint and no power on the next,
as it is carried away by the wind at its best.

To rise to the sky it may take whole life,
but when fate pulls down it nails to the ground.

How proud one may feel or dance on the winds,
but often a single gust can change all wills,

Broken and perished as it rolls over the dust,
lifeless it clutters in the bunch left to rust.

Destiny often follows the deeds that are done,

it never has a season nor it touches without a reason.

Scattered Pieces of Life..!!

In the darkness of infinity as I look around,
I see though none, but all pieces surround.
Some dark, few drenched n some pieces are white,
but all that scattered are pieces of life.

What ever I look, and wherever I step,
I see, I feel and I walk over the life.
In the whistle of the waves,
and the dusky sunny rays.
In the bright sunshine, and a tearful smile,
all I find few pieces of life.

The faces that I read, and the strangers all I meet,
have stories to speak, with pages all unique.
The dreams in their eyes,
and desires that they hide.
Like dots that are scattered in the no moon night,
but all they are, few pieces of life.

The warmth in an embrace,
and a drop that tumbles down the face.
Few guilt, regrets and some fears suppressed.
Untold, unheard and some desires unsaid,
thousands though they, but are silent and dead.
As I touch the sand and the shells that are cold,
some slip, few falls, as tighter when I hold,
but few that remain are the pieces of life.

These pieces though few,
like the morning summer dew.
Though worthless they are,
but a thirsty little flower,
which waits whole night,
for a single drop of life,
and all these drops are the pieces of life.

I was wandering all alone,
In the midst of the crowd and faces unknown,
My mind too slow and heart so low,
And ahead as I gaze, long miles to go,

I feel that void ness in the core of my heart,
A loneliness that grasps and pulls me in dark,
Life is a chaser and it chases till death,
And time is a curve, we need to bend,

Gathering my senses was ahead on my way,
With those aching steps I entered that dark alley,
As I looked thru the darkness at the end of the road,
There waits a little guy, with bright face and arms so broad,
With so many doubts and questions in my mind,

I was crawling towards that shining smile,
As I approached near to that innocent child,
He looked at me, and laughed so wild,
Those black little eyes and a mysterious smile,
Dragged me to a lane where I was once a while,

I remember those days when I was a child,
And live and back those moments I find,
Stands in front of me that beautiful past,
And all I want forever these moments to last,

Engulfed in a magic as he widened his arms,
My mind was lost and my senses all gone,
I lifted him up and gathered him around,
As I bring closer to heart, a mystery surrounds,
With a sudden flash that magic was lost,
Trembling my hands and my heart all frost,

Was back to that crowd with faces unknown,
I lost that child as some memories all gone,
Helpless and weak my dreams all flew,
And all I wish may sometime my dream come true

Someone…Somewhere…!!

As I walk along that line of shore,
the sky was dull as never before,

It was a dusk with solitude around,
and the wind was wet as the darkness surrounds,

I hear the din from the crowd so far,
and rattles from the shells with edge of an arc,

Chirping of birds flying back to their nest,
and tides roaring high driving waves unrest,

Along with surf and some pieces of shells,
waves touching the beach to embrace the sand,

The tall palm trees bearing fruits on them,
as if kissing the waters as they try to bend,

Deep in my thoughts i gathered few steps,
as I saw a shining thing, a little piece of flesh,

Dragged by the waves and immersed in the filth,
pushed far to the shore there lies a little fish,

Battling for its life and waiting for one wave,
a wave to carry back, back deep to its cave,

Gently as i picked it up, bending on my knees,
slipped it in the waters as i let that life free,

Sometimes it happen destiny drags u afar,
your mind so fragile and your thoughts all dark,

All you are left with hopes which are vain,
and you mourn for the life that you find inane,

But there is always that someone to pick u up,
and help you to see the life in a way to be loved,

If you ever meet that someone on your way someday,
Keep close to your heart and let him never go anyway..!!

Piece Of LIfe..!!

I hear the sigh of that crying child,
littered in the filth along the roadside,
dark and pale and flimsy skin,
in the pierching summer heat,
no flesh, no cloth to hide his soul..

There i see the hunger in his eyes,
there i feel the pain in his sighs,
and there she comes, a mother,
lifting that piece, her piece of life,
kissing and embracing in her arms tight,
a moment of relief and a moment to smile,
both for me and that little innocent child.

I hear the sigh of that jaded man,
a father, a brother and a husband for some souls,
working hard the whole day long
for a meagre wage to keep him on,
no sign of pleasure, no sign of pain,
on his forehead some hopes in vain,
his doom so dice, and deep in the heart a fire lies,
he wants to cry for his life derride,
but tears all drenched in those filthy sweat,
he returns from the field at the dusk so weird,
with some gauky faces waiting at home,
and a hope for just a piece of bread..
there i see the guilt in his eyes,
there i see the pain in his heart,
and there lies a sweet little baby,
gazing his father and broadening his arms,
and in that innocent smile the man is lost,
lost his worries and all his pain,
his heaven as he embraces his piece of life,
and there i find some tears rolling down his eyes...!!

What's Life..!!

To a man with pieces of shattered dreams,
the dreams he cherished and hoped they come true,
but they are so cruel and myth he never knew,

To that girl staring at the merit list,
who spent tons of night burning that midnight oil,
but the list too short to hold her name,

To that sweet little guy who lies cold on the bed,
counting his breathe and knows not his fault,
he suffers with a disease that has never been dealt,

To that old broken man who waits for his son,
and hope he returns and hold him to carry on,
but the time so strong that it changes all,

To that young bride who has all tears in her eyes,
yet she knows that there is some reason for pride,
cos lies her man wrapped in a flag with bullets in the head,

To that labour guy working in that dark gloomy room,
no scope for dreams, and all his wealth that wierd youth,
all he wish to see a smile on the face of his little bro,

So ever u dare to ask this question,
just ask to yourself what is life,
and expect no reply, thats what defines life..!!
